Job summary

Northwest Trustee & Management Services, LLC seeks a Manager of Trust Commercial Real Estate & Unique Assets in a hands-on role based in Idaho. You will oversee the administration, valuation support, risk monitoring, and fiduciary stewardship of non-traditional assets held in trust accounts, with ~70% focused on commercial real estate and 30% on unique assets.

You will coordinate with trustees, attorneys, CPAs, appraisers, brokers, lenders, managers, and investment professionals to protect trust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience or unique asset experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple commercial properties with third-party property managers and real estate professionals.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, and ability to apply disciplined oversight to illiquid and alternative assets.
• Experience reviewing property-level and entity-level financial statements, leases, ownership and loan documentation, valuations, and due diligence materials.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex asset information, exercise sound judgement, maintain accurate documentation, and handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Asset Ownership Review, Documentation, & Fiduciary Control: verify assets titled to the trust and maintain trustee authority evidence.
• Unique Asset Administration & Reporting: maintain asset registers, files, checklists, and schedules; track valuations, insurance, taxes, leases, and capital activities.
• Fiduciary Risk Management & Asset Monitoring: identify risks and escalate material issues to leadership.
• Asset-Specific Oversight: oversee commercial real estate assets, LLC/private interests, loans, and other illiquid assets; monitor performance and events.
• Maintain records so trustees have reliable information for fiduciary decisions.
• Coordinate with trustees, attorneys, CPAs, appraisers, brokers, lenders, and managers to protect trust interests.
