Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate or unique asset experience in asset management, property management, or fiduciary services.
• Experience overseeing multiple commercial properties and working with third-party property managers and real estate professionals is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals and discipline for privately held illiquid and alternative assets.
• Experience reviewing property-level and entity-level financial statements, leases, ownership and loan documentation, and valuations.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex asset information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Asset Ownership Review, Documentation, & Fiduciary Control: Verify assets are properly titled or assigned to the trust/trustee and maintain evidence of authority.
• Review ownership and governing documents; identify missing title, valuation, tax, insurance, consent, or supporting documentation and gaps.
• Monitor transfer restrictions, buy-sell provisions, liens, pledges, guarantees, and other ownership limitations; coordinate legal review as needed.
• Unique Asset Administration & Reporting: Maintain the Trust Unique Asset Register and asset files; follow-up on missing items and keep records current.
• Complete recurring administrative work: track valuations, insurance, property taxes, leases, capital requirements, distributions, payments, maturities, filings, renewals, and material events.
• Fiduciary Risk Management & Asset Monitoring: Identify and monitor legal, financial, operational, liquidity, valuation, insurance, and concentration risks.
• Asset-Specific Oversight: Commercial real estate management, review operating performance, budgets, cash flow, valuations, insurance, taxes, and capital projects.
• Loans/promissory notes: maintain loan files, track balances, payments, maturity, defaults, collateral, and related documents.
