Job summary

Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. is seeking a Truss Manufacturing Laborer to join the team on first shift, four 10-hour days, starting at 6:00 AM with overtime as needed.

Work involves pulling and loading lumber, using hand and power tools, laying out and adjoining trusses, and loading roof trusses. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately perform work based on provided instructions.
• Demonstrated success working safely and following PPE/OSHA guidelines.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs team lift.
• Good attitude, social skills, work ethic and team spirit.
• Ability to pass physical capacity testing, drug testing and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture/truss processes including pulling and loading lumber.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Lay out and adjoining trusses and load out build floor and roof trusses.
