Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Truss Assembler I in Marshfield, WI to stock lumber and components, fabricate truss sections, and band finished products. The role requires reading shop drawings and working with lines supervisors to set up components.

The position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, Monday through Friday from 4pm to 2:30am, with typical safety and attendance expectations. Prior carpentry experience is preferred and a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
  • Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.

Responsibilities

  • Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up; assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.
  • Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
  • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
  • Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns; read shop drawings to understand stacking order when required.
  • Monitor production workflow process, assisting other areas as needed.
  • Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
  • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment.
  • Comply with the company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. Assist in maintaining an organized work environment which may include emptying trash receptacles and keeping all bays/staging areas clean and organized.
  • Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment. Monitor inventory as required by location management.
  • Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error‑free and damage‑free results.
  • Participate in and complete assigned trainings.

A Brief Overview

The Truss Assembler I is responsible for assembling truss components. This position will stock lumber, plates and other work‑related materials and supplies, and also band/stack finished products.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr. M-F 4pm-2:30am

What you will do
