The role involves handling payroll-related entry, dispatch duties, and basic billing, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma or GED is required; logistics/business degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics or business.
• 1–2 years clerical, administrative, or transportation industry experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of TMS, SAP or AS400 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Documentation & Logs: enter payroll, track trucking tickets, and support inventory control with Fleet watcher.
• Scheduling & Dispatch: coordinate pickup/delivery schedules, assign dock doors, assist route planning.
• Driver Communication: check drivers in/out, relay schedule changes, answer transit inquiries.
• Compliance & Safety: track DOT rules, driver credentials, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Billing & Payroll: assist with basic billing reconciliation, carrier charges, and timekeeping.
