Job summary

Great American Insurance Group’s Trucking Division in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Claims Representative to join our Physical Damage team. This on-site role requires 1–3 years of claims experience and offers a hybrid schedule with core in‑office days Tuesday–Thursday and one remote day as needed.

You will investigate and maintain claims, review coverage and liability, and ensure timely payments while complying with laws and company policies. Benefits are provided for full‑time and part‑time staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years claims experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Auto Physical Damage experience a plus.
• Body Shop experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and maintains claims.
• Reviews coverage and liability.
• Secures and analyzes information for claims.
• Participates in affecting settlements/reserves within prescribed limits; submits recommendations to supervisor on cases exceeding personal authority.
• Ensures that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures claims handling is compliant with applicable statutes, regulations and company procedures.
• Conveys information to all appropriate parties, maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
