Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment is seeking a skilled assembler to upfit trucks, fabricate, repair and install steel items and equipment. You will complete assemblies to the goals set by the Production Manager.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and about three years of related experience in manufacturing. Basic 12-volt wiring knowledge, mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints are preferred. On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; three years related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams or engineering drawings is a plus.
• Knowledge of 12-volt electrical wiring is preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic equipment and products under supervision per SOPs.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, or written instructions.
• Meet production schedule deadlines set by Production Manager.
• Perform quality checks and document defects.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
