Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment is seeking Wiring Technicians to fit and install a range of truck and utility equipment in a manufacturing shop. Candidates should have basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to follow specifications and blueprints for up-fitting various truck configurations.

Responsibilities include quality checks, documentation, safety practices, and collaborating with supervision. The role offers hourly pay and a benefits package in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge and experience of twelve volt electrical diagnostics and wiring.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions.
• A team-player with a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble/install equipment and products.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
• Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Learn/follow established company electrical guidelines.
