Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment is seeking an assembler to perform truck upfits, fabricate, repair, and install steel items. You will read blueprints and follow engineering drawings to assemble equipment, meeting production schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 3 years of related manufacturing experience (preferred), and the ability to work with MIG welding and 12-volt electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Three-year related experience in manufacturing (preferred).
• Truck fitting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic equipment and products under supervision per SOPs.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Meet production schedule deadlines set by Production Manager.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Identify defects and document them.
• Complete timely documentation.
• Consult with supervisor on quality or procedural problems.
• Rework and repair assembled equipment per engineering changes.
• Work according to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
