Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment, a division of Douglas Dynamics, is seeking an assembler to perform truck upfits, fabricate and install steel items, and ensure quality according to engineering specs.

You will read blueprints, follow SOPs, and work to production timelines while maintaining safety and accuracy. The role includes documenting defects, assisting with tooling, and collaborating with supervisors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting and following basic blueprints, diagrams and drawings.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and teammates.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic equipment and products under supervision following SOPs.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to assemble equipment.
• Meet production schedule deadlines set by Production Manager.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Document issues and defects and communicate with supervisors.
• Rework or repair assemblies per engineering changes.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
