Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet in peak condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure timely repairs while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include repairing parts, reading precision instruments, welding when needed, and complying with DOT/EPA/ICC/OSHA rules. A valid CDL and tools are required, with growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience as maintenance technician or equivalent education.
• Experience with truck repair, body and frame repair.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and records.
• Must possess a valid CDL when required.
• Knowledge of truck systems and DOT/OSHA rules.

Mansioni

• Build, rebuild and repair parts of company equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or other failures in trucks or related equipment.
• Read precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, DMMs, calibrators).
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of components and systems in trucks and trailers.
• Weld where required on converter dollies or trucks.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations.
