Job summary

Continental's BestDrive division seeks a Retread Technician to inspect tires, analyze results, and perform repairs or rebuilds for CLT and Medium Truck casings. You will operate specialized equipment, apply tread, and ensure airtight seals for curing, while maintaining documentation and OSHA safety standards.

You will interact with BestDrive sales and fleet personnel to complete tasks, working in a dynamic shop environment with opportunities to grow within a global tire leader.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Strong communication with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect casings and analyze results with Conti guidelines.
• Operate shearography and grade casings.
• Buff tread and apply new tread per procedures.
• Assemble envelope and seal for curing.
• Conduct vacuum tests and repair injuries as needed.
• Set curing parameters and load curing chamber.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with sales and fleet personnel to complete tasks.
