Job summary

BestDrive, a Continental subsidiary, seeks a Retread Technician to inspect tires, analyze conditions, and take steps to repair or rebuild CLT and Medium Truck casings, adding value for customers and driving revenue.

You will follow Conti procedures, operate panels, buff tread, apply tread, seal envelopes, run curing, and communicate with sales and fleet personnel while adhering to OSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Fast-paced, customer‑service environment experience.
• Team and independent work ability.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect casings with Conti guidance and tools.
• Operate shearography machine to grade casings.
• Buff tread and apply new tread per procedures.
• Assemble envelope and ensure airtight seal for curing.
• Perform vacuum tests and repair injuries on casings.
• Load curing chamber and set parameters.
• Coordinate with BestDrive sales and fleet personnel.
• Complete paperwork legibly and comply with OSHA/MSHA safety.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
