Job summary

Continental (BestDrive) is seeking a Retread Technician in Jacksonville, IL, to inspect tires, analyze results, and rebuild or repair CLT and Medium Truck casings. The role involves applying tread, sealing envelopes, and ensuring proper curing while following Conti work instructions and safety standards.

Expected duties include operating shearography equipment, communicating with sales and fleet personnel, and handling paperwork in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Inspect casings using Conti procedures and work instructions.
• Analyze results from shearography and grade the casings.
• Buff and apply tread to prepared casings per guidelines.
• Assemble envelopes and ensure airtight seals for curing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect casings and communicate service tasks with BestDrive personnel.
• Complete paperwork legibly and accurately.
• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and PPE protocols.
• Support curing process by loading and setting parameters.
