Kenworth Sales Company is hiring a Service Advisor in Post Falls, ID. The role focuses on generating and closing repair orders, coordinating with customers, and assisting the Service Manager with records and files.

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience; this is a drug-free workplace with pre-employment screening. The schedule runs 10:30am–7:00pm and involves hands-on service department duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods.
• Must have the ability to identify and meet Customer needs and requirements.
• Must be a hard worker and a self-starter and a problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all customer contact with the Service Department, including repair estimates, service appointments, customer authorization on service orders, status-of-repair inquiries, payment terms and complaints.
• Generates and maintains all work orders and repair orders; assists customer in identifying needed services and issues clear repair instructions to technicians.
• Monitors progress of repairs and updates customer on changes in service, costs, or time; obtains customer authorization for changes.
• Calculates labor charges on repair orders; closes orders and reconciles with final invoice; transmits time cards to Payroll.
