Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers in the service department, quote repairs, write service orders and obtain approvals. You will open and close repair orders and monitor progress with technicians, while assisting in scheduling and communicating updates to customers.

You will identify upsell opportunities, ensure quality workmanship, and finalize paperwork while promoting safe work practices and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Customer Service Relations, vehicle environment and employee supervision is preferred, but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the service department for all service needs.
• Take and determine appropriate action for incoming service calls concerning repairs, scheduling, cost and completion dates.
• Assist in preparing quotes on repair jobs and write service orders with customer approvals.
• Open and close Repair Orders and monitor progression with technicians.
• Assist in assigning technicians to service jobs and report progress to customers.
• Identify upsell opportunities and communicate them to customers.
• Report customer complaints to the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
• Ensure departing jobs are inspected for quality and cleanliness.
• Finalize paperwork and manage cash schedules.
