The Shelly Company is seeking a Scale Operations Specialist to accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks, maintain detailed records, and ensure smooth scale house operations across multiple aggregate sites. Experience with scale systems and billing processes is a plus.

This fast-paced role requires strong math and computer skills, the ability to communicate clearly with drivers and internal teams, and a willingness to travel and work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of experience in scale house operations, logistics/transportation, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems, including scale house software and Microsoft Windows programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer transactions and promote a safe, team environment.
• Operate remote truck scale system to weigh vehicles and materials.
• Verify load information and compliance with company policies.
• Communicate with drivers, vendors and internal teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of weights, transactions, and documentation.
• Learn billing processes to support responsibilities.
