Job summary

Dobbs Peterbilt seeks an ambitious sales professional to drive growth across assigned territories in Louisiana. The role requires traveling to customer sites to secure orders, selling new equipment, financing, and related services, and expanding the company’s customer base.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or have 3+ years of outside sales experience, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL within 12 months. Knowledge of the transport industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
• Ability to obtain a valid CDL within 12 months of employment.
• Sales experience in the transportation industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell new equipment, financing of new/used vehicles, and equipment rentals and leases.
• Sell service, parts, and body shop work.
• Travel to customer sites for outside sales calls and drive to off-site locations.
• Manage sales within assigned territories.
