Job summary

Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc., Roebuck, SC, is seeking a Truck Mechanic I to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment. You will document repairs, follow SOPs, and help minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, basic Microsoft Office skills, and truck/fleet maintenance exposure; automotive mechanics degree or CBT training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills required.
• 2 years' experience as a truck mechanic or 3 years in fleet setting desired.
• Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance for diesel/gasoline equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs automotive and other company equipment.
• Completes recordkeeping and documentation for all repairs.
• Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Collaborates with colleagues to minimize downtime and route interference during repair times.
• Other duties as assigned.
