Job summary

Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. (CTS), a subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc., is hiring Short Truck/Tankwagon Drivers to deliver fuel and lubricants to plants, offices, and industrial yards.

You will keep equipment clean and safe, handle hoses, and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT rules. This role requires a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and at least 2 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• 2+ years of professional driving experience required.
• Basic computer skills including electronic logs, time reporting and email.

Responsibilities

• Delivers fuel and lubricant products to and from specified destinations.
• Maintains equipment in clean, organized and safe working condition.
• Lifts and carries long hoses for dispensing product at customer sites.
• Maintains drivers logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines and DOT regulations.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies.
• Performs pre-trip, post-trip and in-transit inspections.
• Ensures loads are locked, braced and secured.
• Inspects tank inventory and checks tanks to ensure proper delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Short Truck/Tankwagon Drivers play a critical role in the continued success of Colonial by safety and effectively delivering products and services to our customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
