Job summary

BP’s Truck Logistics Coordinator role is co-located with the Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, WA, and supports delivery performance for VP’s carrier base across BP’s West Coast retail and jet fuel operations. You will collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and 3PL partners to ensure safe, reliable deliveries and optimize scheduling processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record in delivering value through decision making and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analytics.
• Experience in supply, logistics or procurement fields.
• Ability to work with external partners to resolve contracting or payment issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply reliability for ~500 retail sites on the West Coast.
• Coordinate safe, reliable, and efficient product delivery.
• Collaborate with carriers, internal customers, and 3PL for logistics.
• Coordinate ordering, scheduling and delivery of light oil products.
• Serve as the primary contact for planned/unplanned supply communications.
• Coordinate with Advanced Fuels Products to resolve product quality events.
• Use analytical tools to facilitate delivery.
• Coordinate new terminal set-ups with carriers.
• Coordinate retail site administration and testing.
• Handle retail site billing questions.
• Maintain scheduling systems to reflect operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support growth.
• Build relationships with M&C for cross-team collaboration.
