Job summary

ExFreight is seeking a Truck Customer Service Representative to join our Operations team at our Lake Worth, Florida headquarters. This in-office, full-time role provides exceptional support for truck freight shipments across North America.

You will liaise with customers on quotes, bookings, and updates while navigating our digital platform and TMS. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced setting, communicates clearly, stays organized, and delivers a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with technology, web-based platforms, and MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist customers with freight quotes, shipment bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery and proactively communicate shipment updates.
• Resolve shipment issues including delays, damages, shortages, and delivery problems.
• Coordinate with trucking carriers, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Review Bills of Lading and shipment docs for accuracy.
• Educate customers on LTL, FTL, cross-border shipping, transit times, and accessorial services.
• Utilize ExFreight's platform and TMS to manage shipments.
• Maintain detailed shipment notes and customer records.
• Escalate operational issues while owning customer communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
