Job summary

The Salvation Army Baker City Service Center is hiring for a Truck Driver – Warehouse Assistant. The role involves driving a donation truck, unloading goods, and supporting the warehouse team at the Baker City location.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (or two years’ work experience), a safe driving record, and an Oregon driver’s license. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or two years’ work experience required.
• Must have safe driving record and Oregon driver’s license.
• 3 years driving experience required; maintain truck and logs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to collect donations and unload/store at Baker City facility.
• Assist in warehouse tasks for social services and seasonal distributions.
• Maintain truck cleanliness, check fluids, tires, and safety equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and daily work instructions from supervisor.
