Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. seeks experienced CDL-A drivers to become training mentors, guiding the next generation of truck scholars. You will train students, earn miles for both you and your trainee, and benefit from a range of driver-focused rewards and bonuses.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid Class A license, and pass DOT physicals and drug tests. Expect substantial earnings and a supportive, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and meet experience requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass DOT physical and drug tests.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in past 2 years; up to 2 moving violations in past 2 years.
• Minimum 60,000 miles solo and 1 winter season driving OTR.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor new CDL-A drivers.
• Be compensated for miles driven and student miles during training.
• Support trainee development and participate in bonuses related to trainee performance.

Job Details:

We are looking for passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. Pass the torch and help develop the next generation of truck drivers while being financially rewarded for your time.

• $173,250 average annual earnings for top performing trainers
• $3,300 average weekly earnings for top performing trainers
• Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student’s miles while training
• $200 weekly pay for having a student on the truck on top of milage pay
• Trainers earn a matching bonus for all production & safety bonuses their graduated trainees earn in their first 12 months of employment
