Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors, mentoring the next generation of truck drivers and being financially rewarded for training time.

Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student's miles, with additional weekly pay when a student is on board and a matching bonus based on trainee bonuses earned in the first 12 months.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid Class A license.
• 6 months Class A experience in the last year or 1 year in the last 5 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years.
• No major accident in the past 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests.
• Additional trainer qualifications: minimum of 30 days with Knight.
• Must have at least 60,000 miles solo and 1 winter season driving OTR.

Responsibilities

• Support trainees during on-road sessions and assess progress.

• $85,000 average annual earnings for top performing trainers
• $1,600 average weekly earnings for top performing trainers
• Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student's miles while training
• $200 weekly pay for having a student on the truck on top of milage pay
• Trainers earn a matching bonus for all production & safety bonuses their graduated trainees earn in their first 12 months of employment
