Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A truck drivers for over-the-road or regional runs in the Eastern Mid-Atlantic region, including NC, VA, MD, PA, DE and DC. Expect weekly miles and steady home time.

Weekly pay ranges from $1,500 to $1,760 with 1480 miles weekly. Duties include pre- and post-trip inspections, on-time freight delivery, accurate logs, and clear communication with dispatch and driver managers. Requirements: CDL A, clean MVR and background, DOT drug screen.

Home Weekly: Day Off, Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs: Out for 5 days and home for 2 days.

Operating Area: Eastern Mid-Atlantic region, including North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Washington DC.

Miles per week: 1480.

Duties:

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time. Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
