Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced Class A truck drivers to haul freight with weekly home time, reliable miles and strong benefits. A minimum of 3 months OTR or regional experience is required.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and communicate with dispatch. Operating area includes SC, NC, AL, KY, GA, VA, OH, TN and WV; drivers are home 5 of 7 with 2 days off for family time.

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Experience Drivers:

Pay:

$1690 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly:

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: SC, NC, AL, KY, GA, VA, OH, TN, VA and WV). Load: 3 loads per week and 3 stops average.

Duties:

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time. Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Terminations:

• Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
