GEX Transport. seeks Class A CDL drivers for routes in the Eastern Mid-Atlantic region, including NC, VA, MD, PA, DE, and DC. Drivers will benefit from weekly home time and consistent miles.

Experience requirements include a minimum of 3 months in Over the Road or Regional driving, with a clean MVR and ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Compensation ranges from $1500 to $1760 per week.

Home Weekly

Day Off, Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs: Out for 5 days and home for 2 days.

Operating Area

Eastern Mid-Atlantic region, including North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Washington DC.

Duties

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license.
Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

No more 3 in the last 3 years.
No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
No DUI's within the past 5 years.
