Job summary

GEX Transport in California is seeking Home Weekly Class A drivers to haul freight with steady weekly pay and family-friendly scheduling. The role covers operating areas including AZ, CO, IL, TN, FL, NC, MD, NJ, MA with return routes to CA.

Minimum 3 months of OTR or Regional experience is required, along with a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Expect 2–3 loads per week and 2–3 stops per load while maintaining logs and safety compliance.

Experience Drivers

Account

$1930 to $2400 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.(Operating Area: AZ, CO, IL, TN, FL, NC, MD, NJ, MA with return routes going back to CA).

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 2 to 3 stops per load.

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
