The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a Production Assistant 1 (Truck Driver) for the Anaheim Distribution Center. You will follow routes, manage daily schedules, and ensure on-time deliveries while supporting the Adult Rehabilitation Program.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, supervising a truck helper, adhering to DOT regulations, and delivering courteous customer service. High school diploma, valid license, and clean driving record are required; training provided.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow daily routing directions and stay on route or as directed by supervisor.
• Manage time daily to complete routes within the work schedule; 100% completion expected.
• Safely load and unload assigned truck; assist with loading/unloading other trucks as needed.
• Train, instruct and supervise truck helper in Work Therapy Assignment (WTA) in line with program goals.
• Perform Bag & Tag duties as instructed by Supervisor and procedure.
• Represent The Salvation Army with courteous customer service and report donor problems to supervisor.
• Comply with DOT regulations and state/local laws; maintain a safe driving record; attend driver safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor or Director of Production.
