Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support in Seaford, DE to join a privately held agriculture company with a diverse portfolio. The role centers on delivering fertilizer and chemicals, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance while serving customers in a reliable, on-site capacity.

You will handle blending and calibration, communicate with customers, and maintain vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL required.
• HazMat endorsement required.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
