Job summary

CHS Inc. in Minot, ND seeks a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul feed to local customers and support daily grain elevator operations. A Class A CDL with air brake endorsement is preferred; regular M-F hours with longer peak-season days are expected.

The role requires safety-minded individuals capable of lifting load duties and operating in variable weather. Responsibilities include preparing trucks, loading/unloading, maintaining inventory quality, and adhering to hours of service

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties

This individual would be responsible for hauling feed to local customers and also helping our with daily operations in our grain elevator or feed warehouse. The ideal candidate would have a Class A CDL with their air brake endorsement. This is a M-F role with weekends and longer hours as needed during our fall busy season. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
