Job summary

CHS Inc. is looking for a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team in Philip, SD. The role involves hauling fertilizer to local customers and assisting with site operations when driving is slow.

You will perform general labor tasks, prepare trucks and railcars for loading, load and unload agricultural inputs, and maintain inventory quality while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties
