Job summary

CHS Ag Services in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team. The role entails hauling agricultural commodities to local customers and supporting daily operations. It is a Monday–Friday home daily position with overtime during spring and fall busy seasons. A Class A CDL or ability to obtain one is ideal.

• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties

This is a M-F home daily position with overtime during the spring and fall busy seasons. The ideal candidate would have a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain. Join our team in Grand Forks today!

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Additional Qualifications

• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
• Valid Class A CDL preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Compensation Data

• Salary range: $22.31 - $35.67 /hr
• Hiring range: $25/hr+ depending on experience.
• CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
