Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Danville, VA.

Pay and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $1355 or more
• Hourly pay: $24.64
• Hours per week: 40-50
• Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 5 days on, 2 days off & 2 days on, 5 days off
• Start time: 2:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Operate Yard Truck and Dry Van trailers (48', 53', 20', 40' Pup)
• No freight, no touch, shuttle runs (~34 miles), yard work
• Local route, home daily
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements
• 9 months recent tractor-trailer experience or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test
• Follow written and oral instructions
