Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist in Arkansas to transport materials to multiple locations. This is a full-time driving role with salary-based pay and bonus opportunities, and no touch freight.

You will provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites, secure loads (tarps as needed), and operate with forklift assistance for loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at load/delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarps when required.
• No touch freight; material loaded/unloaded with a forklift.

Description:

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements:
