Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our locations across the state with well-maintained equipment. You will provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites and ensure loads are secure, with occasional tarping.

No touch freight and forklift-assisted loading/unloading are included in this full-time role. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, flatbed experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure the load and occasionally tarping the product.
• No touch freight.
• Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements
