Job summary

NFI is seeking professional drivers to join its dedicated flatbed fleet. Earn a weekly pay of 1,700–2,200 with live unloading and strapping only; no tarping required.

Drive modern equipment, haul steady freight, and qualify for health benefits starting on day one. NFI has a long history of treating drivers as people, offering regional routes with home time and competitive bonuses including a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a $2,000 referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Minimum 6 months of Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Hazmat required (NFI will assist in obtaining).
• Flatbed experience preferred; training provided.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Must meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, including moving frequently, lifting up to 50 lbs/23 kg and up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Report problems with equipment, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Perform routes, pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements.

NFI Driver Expectations And Requirements

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.

• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
