Job summary

FreshDirect is seeking a delivery driver to operate company vehicles, load and deliver packages, and maintain vehicle readiness. You will work in a fast-paced, in-person role with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

The position offers flexible hours, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive employee benefits. Requirements include 2 years of truck driving experience, a NY license (non-CDL acceptable), and a proven safe driving record.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent commercial truck driving experience.
• Valid NY driver’s license (non-CDL). CDL not required.
• Safe driving record: 3 points, 1 accident, minimal suspensions.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Flexible weekends, holidays, mornings, or evenings.
• Comfortable using smartphones for GPS, routing & communication.
• Strong commitment to Safety, Reliability, and Customer Satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive-in All-Weather Conditions: Safely operate vehicles and complete routes in various weather conditions.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Always represent FreshDirect with professionalism and a positive attitude. Deliver outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in demanding situations.
