Job summary

FreshDirect is seeking dependable and customer-focused Route Drivers to join our last-mile delivery team. In this role, you will safely operate company vehicles, deliver customer orders accurately and on time, and provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects FreshDirect’s commitment to quality and service.

Starting rate: $18.00 per hour with overtime opportunities. You can earn up to $28/hour w/tips, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and health benefits eligibility after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent commercial driving experience.
• Valid New York State driver’s license; CDL is not required.
• Safe driving record with no more than 3 points, no more than 1 accident, and minimal suspensions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and extended shifts as needed.
• Comfortable using smartphones for GPS navigation, routing, and communication.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
