Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in the United States is seeking a Rush Technician to perform technical service and repairs on trucks and engines. You will read job orders, plan procedures, and work with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability as per company guidelines.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins and/or ASE certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install components and transmissions as required.
• Read job orders and determine repair procedures.
• Ensure safety devices and guards are in good condition.
• Test drive to verify conformance to specs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
