Rush Truck Centers in the United States is hiring a skilled diesel technician to perform repairs on trucks, engines and components. You will read work orders, plan procedures, and ensure safety standards while delivering reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• Current and valid driver's license with insurability.
• Peterbilt/International/Ford/Hino/Isuzu/Cummins and/or ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install major engine and drivetrain components and parts as needed.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures.
• Inspect safety devices and make adjustments as required.
• Lubricate parts and road-test to verify specifications.
• Tag warranty parts to warranty clerk.
• Attend training and study factory bulletins.
• Develop positive relationships with customers.

Education

5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician

ASE certifications preferred

Valid driver license

Tools

Ford certifications

Hino certifications

Isuzu certifications

Cummins certifications
