Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in West Point, GA is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and connect customers with service staff. You will input orders into the POS, verify service accuracy, and collect invoices while maintaining clean lobby areas and assisting with simple maintenance tasks.

No experience is required as training is provided; flexibility and teamwork are essential as is the ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobby and connect to service specialists to identify needs
• Process transactions at the cash register and suggest add-on services per policy
• Enter work orders into POS, verify services performed, close invoices
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance for authorizations and POs
• Keep customer areas and restrooms clean and stocked, wipe surfaces and dispose waste
• Lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures as required by shifts.
