Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Fernley, NV is seeking truck care cashiers to greet customers, manage transactions at the lobby, and connect customers with service specialists to identify needed services. Flexible scheduling and team-based work culture are emphasized.

No experience? No problem—we’ll train you. This role stresses accuracy in POS input, strong customer service, and the ability to lift 25+ pounds in a fast-paced environment, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register and completing transactions, while offering additional sales opportunities and following state/local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed; collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area and restroom maintenance (cleaning, sweeping/mopping, wiping surfaces)
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds; work in various temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
