Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Paint Shop Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to prepare and finish utility trucks and equipment for production. You'll perform paint preparation, sandblasting, masking, and taping, and ensure surfaces are clean and ready for coating.

Responsibilities include filling cracks, hanging parts from paint racks, applying non-skid coatings, operating a forklift to move materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work area while following all safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Perform paint preparation, sandblasting, masking, and taping.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and coating.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specifications.
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks.
• Apply non-skid coatings and operate a forklift as needed.
