Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician in Union Grove, WI. The role supports the production team in preparing and finishing utility trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities include paint prep, sandblasting, masking, coating, and ensuring surface adhesion. Forklift operation and minor assembly tasks are also part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ~1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Must pass a respirator fit test; no facial hair on cheeks.

• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specification.
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks.

• Remove paint overspray and ensure final quality.
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
• Assist with minor assembly and small wiring tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety and environmental policies.

We’re looking for a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to support our production team in preparing and finishing utility trucks and equipment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Perform paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping
• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specification
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks
• Apply non-skid coatings
• Remove paint overspray and ensure final quality
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials
