Job summary

Custom Truck One Source in Union Grove, WI is seeking a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to support production. You will perform paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping while preparing surfaces for coating adhesion and ensuring quality finishes.

The role requires about 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a respirator fit test. A forklift may be used to move materials in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• No facial hair on cheeks for respirator fit

Responsibilities

• Paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping
• Prepare surfaces for proper coating adhesion
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to spec
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks
• Apply non-skid coatings
• Remove paint overspray and ensure final quality
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials
• Assist with minor assembly and wiring tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all safety and environmental policies

We're looking for a Paint Shop Helper / Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to support our production team in preparing and finishing utility trucks and equipment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Perform paint prep, sandblasting, masking, and taping
• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specification
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks
• Apply non-skid coatings
• Remove paint overspray and ensure final quality
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials
• Assist with minor assembly and small wiring tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety and environmental policies
