Job summary

You will participate in Service Technical Academy training, develop troubleshooting and customer-service skills, and work with a team to keep facilities running efficiently. A valid driver’s license and willingness to join the local union are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the local union.

Responsibilities

• Apprentices will be trained and will perform on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls on client sites.
• Apprentices will participate in certified training through Service Technical Academy (STA).
• Develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve both technical issues and customer needs.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers advised of job progress and issues as needed.
• Meet attendance requirements for required Union training in the first year.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
