Position Overview:

As a Shift Lead at Tropical Smoothie Café, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the café. This position involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, upholding cleanliness, and driving profitability. You will lead by example and motivate your team to guarantee that every customer leaves with a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inventory counts and accurately enter truck orders to maintain stock.
• Actively seek skill development and be flexible to fill in wherever needed within the café.
• Model and encourage best practices in customer service, food preparation, and café operations.
• Assist in training and onboarding new employees, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Monitor daily operations and assist in the implementation of company policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the café.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals and promote new menu items and promotions.
• Support the management team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or QSR shift lead role.
• Open availability, including nights and weekends, is essential.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Vehicle Requirement:

Shift Leads must have daily access to a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. The ability to travel for supply pickups, bank runs, and response to operational needs is an essential function of this role.
