Job summary

Spice QSR, a franchisee of Tropical Smoothie Café, seeks an Assistant Manager to support café operations, uphold safety and cleanliness, and drive profitability. You will lead by example, motivate the team, and ensure customers have a positive experience.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, truck orders, and assisting with scheduling for GM review. Travel between locations may be required; a travel stipend is provided for vehicle use.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a fast-paced restaurant or assistant manager role
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong multitasking, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Vehicle access and travel between cafe locations may be required; travel stipend provided

Position Overview:

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the café, ensuring exceptional customer service, food safety, cleanliness, and profitability. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and ensure that every customer has a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with inventory counts and enter truck orders.

Learn and assist with scheduling for General Manager review.

Actively seek out new skills and fill in wherever needed.

Be on track for a management career path.

What We’re Looking For

• At least3 years of experiencein a fast-paced restaurant or assistant manager role.


• High school diploma or equivalentpreferred.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs in a busy restaurant environment.


• Strong multitasking, communication, and team collaboration skills.


• A positive attitude, even under pressure.


• Valid driver’s licensepreferred but not required.


• Vehicle Requirement: Assistant Managers must have daily access to a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance. The ability to travel between café locations, attend meetings, pick up supplies, and respond to operational needs is an essential function of this role. A travel stipend is provided for roles requiring vehicle use for company bank deposits.
